The Richmond Virginia based team will be adding another Camaro to their TA2 line up. “This has been part of the plan since the beginning and we are excited to get my brother Kenny behind the wheel of our 2nd car,” said Chris Liesfeld, driver of the #96 Fields Racing/Hobart/Hertz Equipment Rentals camaro.
Over the last 10 years Kenny Liesfeld has competed in SCCS, GTA, V8Stockcar, and other SCCA events, and will continue to be an integral part of the crew throughout this season. “We have a talented and close-knit team that is ready for the challenge of running two cars. I’ll still be in the mix preparing the cars, but I am eager to drive again and will work very hard at doubling our chances at a podium finish this year,” said Kenny. Fields Racing will kick off their season and debut both cars at Lime Rock Park this May.
